SPRING JUSTICE AT ARTISTS ASSOCIATION SALT In the fascinating exhibition 'WITH AN EYE ON THE PORTRAIT', 14 artists show drawn and painted portraits with mostly Texel models. Following on from last year's extremely successful but short weekend exhibition, ZOUT is organizing an exhibition this year during the entire month of May with a selection of the many portraits for which more than 20 Texel residents modeled during the winter period. What is striking about this exhibition is the difference in style, technique and material in which the various artists have managed to capture the model, varying from a quick sketch to a meticulously detailed painting. But what is especially visible is the PLEASURE with which they used their pencil, chalk or brush every week! The 14 participating exhibitors are Marleen Bakker, Cecile de Boer, Pieternel Geurtz, Jan Hoekstra, Remko Koopman, Wil de Leeuw, Gerda Lont, Fransien van der Meer, Ingrid Schutt, Lenie Steffen van Heerwaarden, Ciska Rook, Mathilda Witte, Margot van Workum and Tineke Zuidema. Kunstlokaal-Zout, Paelwerk 9 in Den Burg (Abbewaal entrance). Open on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 to 16:00. During the entire month of May 2024.
