KNRM Lifeboat Day

On Saturday, May 25, 2024, the KNRM will open its doors to its donators and other visitors to take a look behind the scenes of the Rescue Society. This year the Royal Dutch Rescue Society celebrates its 200th anniversary! Lifeboat Day is the day for donators to actively become acquainted with the work, the professional volunteers and the equipment of the KNRM. Lifeboat Day is organized by all 46 KNRM rescue stations, the program lasts from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Donators to the KNRM can also sail on a lifeboat in Oudeschid during Lifeboat Day. If you are not yet a donator, you can become a donator that day and sail immediately. You thereby support the KNRM. From the harbor at the rescue station, donators can sail on the Cornelis Dito lifeboat. The coastal emergency vehicle with rescue boat Zalm and a stall with information and items from the rescue shop are located on the quay. Anyone who cares about the KNRM and is interested is welcome on Saturday, May 25, 2024. Boathouse KNRM Oudeschild is located at the marina in Oudeschild.
