Walk through the rolling, old country of Texel and enjoy a piece of sheep cheese and sausage from De Waddel along the way. The Hoge Berg area is not only known for the sheep, garden walls and sheep fines, but also for the Georgian cemetery, 't Doolhof grove and De Zandkuil insect reserve. The walk is largely on unpaved paths and in some places through meadows. You will receive a route and information about the area.
There is a longer (5.3 km.) and a shorter (3.3 km.) walk. You can do this walk on all days except Sunday. You can start from 11 am.
Would you rather take a lunch with you on the road? That is also possible. At lunch we serve homemade bread and spreads from our own farm.
Eating and drinking costs € 12.50 for a group of up to 6 people.
You can book via the VVV: https://www.texel.net/nl/activity/schapenbedrijf-de-waddel-knapsack-tour-of-schapenbedrijf-de-waddel/
