Zielskapje' succeeds "Vischwijven"

In the former sheep barn Boetje van Klemat, a new exhibition can be seen every day entitled 'Zielskapje'. With this new exhibition, artist Ericka Voortman (Hendrikje) literally embroiders on the theme of the 'Vischwijven' from her previous exhibition. Once again the boetje has undergone a metamorphosis and the material and the care with which Ericka Voortman has worked with it, together with the sound made by Severin Candel and the smell, ensures a typical "Hendrikje" atmosphere, which cannot be captured but actually only can be experienced on site. Connoisseurs know this and will be happy to come back after the 'Vischwijven' exhibition last year to see what 'Soulscap' is about. At the same time, a beautiful booklet will be published. Voortman, who makes and builds everything under his own steam, also pays for the entire work himself, without subsidy or financial support. So if you appreciate the work, see the purchase of the booklet as an entrance ticket to the exhibition, which can be visited free of charge seven days a week in the Boetje van Klemat. (Since last year, Ruud Bakker's Boet, which he has been making available to Hendrikje for several years, has been transferred to the Klemat Boetje Foundation. The foundation must ensure that the Boetje will also be accessible to future generations.)
