Sonja Brussen always paints outside. She captures the essence of Dutch landscapes with oil paint on canvas. As an 'art nomad', Brussen can be found in landscapes with water, lakes, seas, ditches or flowers. Constantly capturing the sky, the light and the spaciousness of the landscape, because that is what her work is about. With this she takes you into the world of a painter pur sang. Maurice Christo van Meijel also draws exclusively en plein air. From May to September, he goes to work early in the morning at the same location: beach house 3 at the Beachclub. His pastels are dynamic and energetic; they represent the beach feeling. Galerie Posthuys (Brink 14, De Koog) is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
