Bird identification excursion

Led by one of our guides, you will visit a number of bird-rich areas on the Noordkop of Texel. For example, the mudflats and the surrounding area of Utopia are a favorite place to learn to recognize wading birds and seagulls, while Dorpzicht and Zeeburg are an excellent location for geese, various songbirds and polder birds. The Eierlandsche Duinen are a good place to meet the short-eared owl and other dune birds. The tour around the Robbenjager is also a favorite. The excursions are suitable for young and old and are mainly aimed at learning to recognize birds. These excursions are walking excursions. The guide may ask you to drive a few cars to another location to start the walking excursion there. The nice thing about bird watching is that no two excursions are the same. Even if you take the same route several times, you will always see different bird species. If you don't have binoculars yourself, you can borrow one from the Bird Information Center. The excursion takes place under almost all circumstances (with a minimum of 4 people). If this is not the case, you will be called no later than the evening before the excursion.
