Heritage Museum Waelstee is located in two beautiful farmhouses in the heart of the picturesque village of De Waal in the middle of Texel. In the museum you can learn about the history of living and working on Texel. The extensive collection of historical utensils, tools and means of transport, the blacksmith shop, overviews of Texel landscapes and farms and the authentically decorated farmhouse provide an enlightening view of daily life on Texel in the past.
