Enjoy courtship of woodcock and nightjar. From the parking lot at the Turfveld in De Dennen (crossing Randweg-Westerslag) you can take a walk on the border of the dunes and the forests of De Dennen. An expert and enthusiastic guide will tell you more about the sounds from the dunes and forest. Enjoy the spectacular courtship flights of the woodcock and the nightjar in the last light of the day.
The excursion starts at 9:00 PM and ends around 11:00 PM. The price for this excursion is €25 per person. This amount will benefit the Texel Bird Island Foundation, which, among other things, realizes new bird viewing points on Texel. Loaner binoculars can be provided free of charge if required. Registration for this excursion is necessary.
