Enjoy the courting woodcock and nightjar. From the car park at Turfveld in De Dennen (intersection Randweg-Westerslag) you will take a walk on the border of the dunes and the forests of De Dennen. An expert and enthusiastic guide will tell you more about the sounds from the dunes and forest. Enjoy the spectacular courtship flights of the woodcock and the nightjar in the last light of the day. The excursion starts at 21:00 and ends around 23:00. The price for this excursion is € 25 per person. This amount will benefit the Stichting Texel Vogeleiland, which, among other things, realizes new bird watching points on Texel. A pair of loan binoculars will be made available free of charge if desired. Registration for this excursion is required.
