Exhibition Winter Salt, theme "Energy"

Winter exhibition Artists Association Zou with the theme “Energy”. Artistsver ZOUT has been around for 17 years and from the start the Winter exhibition has been the highlight of the year. Sometimes there are themes that challenge the artists and often take them out of their comfort zone. This year the theme is “energy”. Who isn't concerned with energy these days? But we as humans also need and provide energy. Sufficient material to build on. A real challenge. It is therefore a great surprise to see how all participating artists have given form and content to this. There is a lot of diverse work on display, such as wood, enamel, paper, felt, fabric (silk), ceramics, paintings, photos, installations. The preparation committee has been working for a few months to ensure everything runs smoothly. Juul Molenaar and Remko Koopman are working on the finishing touches. Juul has been on the committee for five years, Remko is fairly new to Zout, but brings a breath of fresh air with all the experiences he has gained at the Leiden artist gallery Ars Aemula Naturae: art competes with nature. He was active within this association . The opening of Winterzout, while enjoying a snack and drink, will be on December 16 at 3 p.m. by Jos van den Broek from Leiden. He is emeritus professor of science communication. Jos puts a lot of time and energy into promoting the added value of art. Welcome!
