Summer cross turf field

At the intersection of the Westerslag and the Nattevlakweg, the Bospaviljoen 't Turfveld is located in a beautiful spot in the Dennen, which serves as the starting location for a weekly cross on Sundays during the summer holidays. The Texel Athletics Association has marked an almost entirely unpaved lap of 4 km with sawdust arrows. Excellent recreational walk in the sheltered Pines, in both warm and windy weather. For the youth there is a private circuit of 1 km. Registration from 9:45 am on the terrace. Registration fee 2 & 1 km youth € 2, and 8 & 4 km €5. AV Texel members pay 1 to 3 euros. Starts 8 & 4 km at 10:30 and youth at 10:31. Afterwards, awards ceremony (for youth) and raffle of vouchers from local sponsors.
