Maritime and Beachcombers Museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m Come to Beachcombers Museum Flora, the BEST family museum on Texel. Discover the maritime past and present here, and experience the cool world of beachcombing. There are various exhibitions and films about ship strandings, container shipping, the KNRM and beachcombing. Children can enjoy the exciting beachcomber experience and there is a nice playground, including play towers, swings, family seesaw and a 30-meter cable car! There are also various games and you can go into a real rescue capsule. Newly opened in 2023 is the TESO pavilion with the wheelhouse of the former ferry ms. Scallop hole.
