Wad excursion with De Vriendschap

The Vriendschap is the only passenger ship that sails in a unique part of the Wadden Sea: the Eierlandse Gat. The tidal inlet between Texel and Vlieland. Our experienced skippers know the channels like the back of their hand and they know how to find the most beautiful spots on the mudflats. They are happy to take you on a special trip to the sandbank. Arriving at the sandbank we disembark with a gangway. With your feet on the bottom of the mudflats is a unique experience, the plate falls dry for a few hours a day, as soon as the water has drained from the plate we see a rich bottom life. The guides tell about life on the bottom of the Wadden Sea. For children we have shovel nets and buckets, they can indulge themselves at the edge of the plate.
