Step into the past and experience how the inhabitants of the island lived, lived and worked in earlier times. In two beautiful bell-shaped farmhouses in the picturesque village of De Waal, you will often get a surprising overview of daily life on Texel. Get close, empathize and reflect on the often hard work of everyday life without facilities such as running water, electricity, telephone, computer. There are regular demonstrations, such as every Tuesday and Wednesday in the old forge from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
