We are committed to managing, preserving and operating the former Mennonite church at Peperstraat 26 in Oosterend. We thus strengthen the economic position of the village of Oosterend on Texel. We do this through the Strender Vermaning Foundation, founded on February 17, 2015. The foundation organizes events and exhibitions in the aforementioned church building and involves the middle class of Oosterend. In addition to organizing a lot ourselves, we also make the Strender Vermaning available to third parties for a fee, including concerts, workshops and funeral and wedding services.
