In March, the fields of North Holland change colour, including on Texel. Bulb cultivation ensures an enormous colour variation and dazzling beauty.
In the spring, Galerie Posthuys displays works inspired by the bulb fields and spring bloomers. After much attention was paid to the snowdrop in recent years, the artists are mainly focusing on the tulip this spring.
TULP is a group exhibition with new artworks by Marianne Aulman (embroidery), Marleen Bakker (paintings), Iris Duchateau (paintings), Dimitri Feenstra (graphics and gouache), Ellen Geerts (paintings), Sanne Kuiper (paintings and etchings), Jolet Leenhouts (ceramics), Wendy Limburg (ceramics), Gerrie Lulof (ceramics), Maurice Christo van Meijel (ceramics), Gert de Mulder (ceramics), Grietje Postma (woodcut), Kathja Smits (ceramic wall paintings), Maartje Strik (paintings) and Yvonne Zomerdijk (paintings and linoleum prints)
Galerie Posthuys (Brink 14, De Koog) is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm.
