Turf field Summer Cross

At the intersection of the Westerslag and the Nattevlakweg, in a beautiful spot in the Dennen, lies the Bospaviljoen ’t Turfveld, which serves as the starting location for a weekly cross on Sunday during the summer holidays. An almost entirely unpaved round of 4 km has been marked with sawdust arrows by the Texel Athletics Association. Excellent recreational run in the sheltered Dennen, in both warm and windy weather. For the youth there is a separate round of 1 km. Registration from 9:45 am on the terrace. Registration fee 1 and 2 km youth € 2 and 8 and 4 km € 5. AV Texel members pay 1 to 3 euros. Starts 8 and 4 km at 10:30 and youth at 10:31. After the prize-giving ceremony for the youth, there is a raffle of vouchers from local sponsors.
