Minibus bird excursion Bird Boulevard

On the occasion of the Wadden Bird Festival, we are organizing a number of extra excursions this weekend! You will go out in a minibus for a morning with an excursion leader to search for as many bird species as possible in various bird-rich areas. In collaboration with Natuurmonumenten, we will visit the Bird Boulevard of Texel. During this excursion, we will stop at the best bird watching locations along the east side of Texel and take a few short walks. If rare species are observed elsewhere, the route can be deviated from in consultation to look for this bird. The bird species that you can encounter during this excursion are very diverse; geese, ducks, waders, meadow birds, gulls and terns. But also songbirds on migration and birds of prey. The range of species also depends on which season you go. Every excursion is different! The excursion starts at 9.30 am at the Bird Information Center. If you do not have binoculars yourself, you can of course borrow one from us. Advance registration for these excursions is required. Payment can be made both online (via the form below) and prior to the excursion at the Bird Information Centre.
