In the ditches, creeks and ponds of Waalenburg on Texel live a lot of small and special creepy crawlies. You sometimes don't see them, but they are there! Together with the forest ranger you go looking for them. Armed with a scoop net and bucket you set off. You learn all about the creatures. For example why there are so many of them, what they eat and who eats them, how they breathe and what cool things they can do. Collect all water samples? Sign up quickly! Suitable for children from 6 to 12 years old. Useful to know: Duration of activity: approx. 1.5 / 2 hours This is a Dutch-language activity Wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty and wet. Also bring a full set of dry clothes for after the search. Always check your child for ticks within 24 hours after an activity in nature.
