Church path 2.0 - along churches on Texel

Texel residents and tourists are welcome in 12 churches spread across Texel. Every hour on the hour, visitors will get a quarter of an hour to get an impression of being a church in 2025. Such as participating in music, listening to stories or lighting a candle in silence. Afterwards, there is an opportunity to go on a trip – preferably by bike – to the next church. From Kerkepad to Kerkenpad 2.0 The name Kerkenpad 2.0 is a nod to the previous Kerkepad on Texel in 1993. Named after the popular TV program Kerkepad. The NCRV made TV recordings in advance and broadcast a Texel episode. They anticipated problems with the boat and deployed extra buses. More than 2,100 people visited 16 Texel churches. Kerkenpad 2.0 is an initiative of Zomerkerk Texel, Raad van Kerken Texel and many volunteers. Welcome!
