The works of Marga Loos, Ina Vader and Hendrien Landeweer are characterised by the tranquil atmosphere and the clear lines.
MARGA LOOS
Colour, dynamics, movement and variation of my surroundings form the inspiration
for my textile collages. I want to capture the space, lines, colours and layering of
an image from my surroundings by actually painting with
different fabrics and yarns, whereby the use of transparent fabrics
adds extra depth.
It is fascinating that the material seems to take over the direction
during the creation process, which means that the end result is usually somewhat different
than I initially had in mind.
INA VADER
In my enamel work I am looking for the essence of life, and of the
experiences I gain. I try to give shape to that in lines, colour, harmony and
contrast. Sometimes meditative and then again monumental. Enamel on copper is a hard
material and at the same time transparent. Sometimes I work based on a text and then again intuitively and then find a text that fits the work.
HENDRIEN LANDEWEER
Female torsos form a large part of my work. The shape, the language and the skin fascinate me. I also make sculptures that have to do with the sea.
I mainly work in wood and stone. I research special wood finishes and combinations with other materials such as metal, plastic, plaster or wool.
