Black-tailed Godwit Safari in Polder Waal and Burg

On the occasion of this Pentecost and black-tailed godwit weekend, we are organising a trip with our minibus in the Waalenburg nature reserve every hour from nature centre De Marel. Stops will be made at various locations along the polder road De Staart to look for the black-tailed godwit. In addition to our national bird, we are of course also looking forward to everything else that the meadow bird reserve has to offer. Think of spoonbills, which can be admired up close while foraging in the various ditches. In addition, the Waalenburg nature reserve has traditionally been one of the few remaining strongholds for the skylark. At this time of year, there are also plenty of orchids such as the spotted orchid and the broad-leaved orchid to admire. During the excursion, we provide high-quality loan binoculars.
