In the garden of De Vermaning you can see sculptures by Martin Griek (1948), a sculptor with a permanent sculpture garden in Den Helder. He is inspired by nature and by the beauty of the material used. The shapes are often stylized, round, flowing and smooth and as clear as possible. He is always looking for a balance between shape and material. Both must come into their own, complement and strengthen each other and be powerful in their simplicity. daily 11 am - 4 pm, free entrance
