Commemoration Framed with Intorno Trio

The trio consists of Waldin Roes: soprano, Helena Sokolova: violin and Marco Kalkman: piano. The musicians, who have all earned their spurs in performing classical music, will perform a special program with works for the commemoration of the war all around us and the Second World War in particular. Beautiful, well-known and surprising combinations of classical music are framed by parts of the Stabat Mater by Pergolesi. The trio was allowed to perform this program during the commemoration of the first bombardment of Rotterdam. It was an impressive concert with music by Pergolesi that was specially arranged for this trio.
