Surrounded by the icons of Joke Moonen and accompanied by harp music, you can listen to the exciting life story of the renowned Russian painter Alexej von Jawlensky (1864-1941). Why was he called the new icon painter? And why did he buy a painting by Vincent van Gogh? How did the artist collective 'Die Blauwe Reiter' emerge from his special friendship with Kadinsky? And then the five women who gave his life direction... There is plenty of room for questions and discussion, or to leaf through a book with images.
