Come and listen to tough and exciting jutter stories. At 11.00 am a fun jutters presentation starts for young and old. Meet the fairytale. What is huts? When are you a hunter and ... what do you find on the beach? Come to FLORA, the CUTEST family museum of Texel and winner of the SILVER award 2018 "best trip of North Holland" from the ANWB. With us you will experience the tough world of beachcombing, pilot and rescue and fishing. There are exhibitions, films about ship's beachings, rescue operations and the barracks. Also for the children a nice playground, including playground, swings, family wagon and a cable car of 30 meters long! But there is so much more to do for children: a quest through the museum, various games and you can go to a real rescue capsule. Listen to exciting jutter stories, view the strangest objects and discover everything about beachcombers on Texel. The Shipwreck and Beachcombing Museum is one of the ten most extraordinary museums in the Netherlands.
