Every Hoornder Thursday you are very welcome in the studio of painter Marleen Bakker. She mainly paints and draws landscape and portrait, using oil paint, watercolor and chalk. The coffee is ready! The Texel native lives and works in a converted farmhouse near Den Hoorn. After living in the province of Groningen for a number of years, she returned to Texel in 2021. She completed the Classical Academy of Painting in Groningen. Marleen gives drawing and painting lessons at the Artex Arts Center in Den Burg. In the summer months she organizes painting workshops at beautiful outdoor locations in the Texel landscape.
