Start Parachuting Season

On Friday, March 29, the Texel sky will be full of parachutes for the first time this year. Approximately every 25 minutes a plane full of brave jumpers departs for their first Tandem Skydive to 9000' (+/- 3 km.) or even to 13,000' (+/- 4 km.). The tandem skydives, where the jumper is attached to an instructor, can be performed by almost anyone aged 8 or older. Those who prefer to keep both feet on the ground are very welcome to come and have a look at the landing area in front of the Paracentrum or from the terrace of the adjacent restaurant.
