Winter fun at the Waelstee Heritage Museum

Many Texel residents remember skating on the Waalenburg nature reserve. Of course, the inner man was also taken care of with delicious hot chocolate from the koek-en-zopie tent. And when there was a nice layer of snow, there was nothing better than a ride on a horse and sleigh through the wintry Texel. But even with a small sleigh from the dike or a priksleigh over the ice, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
